Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

TURY, a sole proprietorship based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India ("Tury", "we", "us"), operates www.tury.in. We are the "Data Fiduciary" for your personal data under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act").

2. What we collect

Account details your name, email address, phone number (if you give it), and your profile photo if you sign up with Google.
Booking details experiences you book, attendees you register, session attendance, and booking status.
Payment metadata the amount, currency, Razorpay payment/order identifiers, and payment status. We never receive or store your card numbers, CVV, UPI PIN, or other banking credentials Razorpay, our PCI-DSS compliant payment processor, handles all of that directly.
Technical logs standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) kept for security and troubleshooting.

3. Why we use your data

We process your personal data only for purposes you would reasonably expect:

To create and secure your account, and to let you sign in.
To process your bookings and payments confirming your seat, receipting your payment, and granting content access where eligible.
To send you service emails booking confirmations, cancellations, payment receipts, email verification and password resets.
To support you answering your queries, handling refunds and disputes.
To meet our accounting, tax and legal obligations retaining payment records as Indian law requires.

4. Signing in with Google

If you choose "Continue with Google", we receive your Google account's name, email address and profile picture, and nothing else. We never post to your Google account, read your email, or access your contacts. You can revoke Tury's access at any time from your Google Account security settings.

5. Who we share data with

Razorpay our payment processor, solely to process your payment and refund. Their own privacy policy governs the payment data they collect from you at checkout.
Authorities where Indian law requires or compels disclosure.

That is the complete list. We do not sell, rent, trade or share your personal data with advertisers, data brokers, or tracking networks ever.

6. Cookies

We use only the cookies required for the Service to work: a session cookie and a "remember me" cookie if you choose to stay signed in. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, or analytics that profile you across other websites.

7. How long we keep data

Account and booking data is kept while your account is active. Payment records are retained for the period required by Indian tax and accounting law (currently 8 years) even after account deletion. Server logs are rotated periodically.

8. Your rights under the DPDP Act, 2023

You have the right to:

Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed.
Correction fix incomplete or inaccurate data (you can also edit most of it yourself on your account page).
Erasure ask us to delete your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements above.
Grievance redressal raise a complaint about how we handle your data.
Nominate name a person to exercise your rights if you are unable to.

To exercise any right, write to our Grievance Officer at hello@tury.in. We will respond within 30 days as the DPDP Act requires.

9. Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS, passwords are stored hashed, streaming links for Arivu content are short-lived and signed, and the server is firewalled and monitored. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable and appropriate safeguards for the kind of data we hold.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, the updated version will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
